Healthy aging is both an art and a science. It requires knowledge of the science behind aging and how to apply it to one's own life. The science of aging involves understanding the physical, psychological, and social effects of aging. This includes knowing what kind of physical activity is beneficial, understanding the risk factors for diseases, and knowing the importance of nutrition and proper sleep. On the other hand, the art of aging is being able to use this knowledge in a way that best suits one's own lifestyle and values. It includes finding ways to stay mentally and physically active, engaging in meaningful activities, maintaining relationships, and finding joy in life. Healthy aging is a combination of understanding the science of aging and applying it in a way that is meaningful and enjoyable. My goal is to use my expertise in science, medicine, nursing, and human behavior to guide you on your journey to a healthy aging.
